hello everyone and welcome to the channel in today's video I will show you how you can install one new i7 on your s24 Ultra if you are not in one of the supported beta program countries unfortunately it's a bit complicated this time and that's why I decided to make this video to get you covered so without further Ado let's jump in the reason I'm saying this update process is a bit complicated is because the OTA images available are very specific to certain models running a specific software version and let me show you a quick example here is the XDA Developers website sharing the download links for the OTA image but you can only use it with these specified models plus your phone should be running the software version ax K4 this is the November update but not every November update ends in ax K4 for example I have the s24 ultra UA version and my November update ends in axi 7 if I followed the same steps on the XDA Developers website the update process will fail in this case you need to make your software version ax K4 but first make sure that your phone model is listed here and you can achieve this by going to settings and then about phone here I have S 928b which is the first one in the list s 928b now it's time to install the ax K4 version on the s24 ultra which requires downloading the software image which is available on this website that I'm going to leave its Link in the description below I'm already in the page related to my phone's model but if yours is different you can use the search bar at the top you can type the device name or model code and it will take you to the relevant download page you need to download this image on the PC so let me show you how on your PC open the link scroll down until you find the list of images set the items per page to 100 to make things easier then use the browsers search to locate the ax K4 images in the list you will find plenty of them you will notice here that each one has a thre letters code next to it this code is called CSC code your phone's CSC will probably be different later I will show you how to change your phone's CSC code to match the image to be able to install it but before this you need to do some research to check which CSC code works the best in your region there is no specific source for this but maybe checking some online forums like credit or Samsung Community to get some help for me I found the EU CSC code supports the same network bands where I live so this is the image I will download so click the hyperlink and scroll down until you find the download buttons there are multiple servers to choose from but I found that Google Drive option to be the most stable but it requires sign in to your Google account which I already did so it will load for a few seconds and then reveal the download button button which will take you to another page to click the download anyway button to start downloading the image as you normally would now the a K4 image download started and as I mentioned before based on my research the EU CSC code works well here in the U and that's why I downloaded this image but originally my CSC code before installing one ui7 was different you can find this information under settings and then about phone then software information and look for the service provider software version and you will find that the first three letters in the second line is xsg which is the CSC code for uee but this is the one I need to change to match the image I'm currently downloading now let's prepare the phone to change the CSC code using a PC But first you need to jump to settings and then scroll all the way down to about phone and then software information keep tapping on the build number 7 to eight times until you find developer options as the last option in your settings go inside and look for the USB debugging and turn on the switch make your USBC cable ready and connect the phone to the PC and let me show you what we need to do over there you need to download a software called Sam FW that you will find its download link in the description open the page on your PC scroll down until you find the direct download link you better create one folder for all the stuff we need to download to make make things easier for you later right before starting the download Chrome gave me a warning that I needed to expand and click the download suspicious file button to start for me the file was safe but you are doing this on your own risk once the download is done head over to the download folder and extract the file in the same location then run the exe file you might get another warning from Windows recommending not to install the file which I did override by clicking more info then run anyway to be able to start the setup just follow the on screen instructions until it's done and by default it will open the app now unlock your phone connected to the PC and it's also recommended to remove your sim card as per XDA Developers website then navigate to the MTP tab you will find change CSC as the last option in the list click on it and give it few seconds to load then it will show you a dialog box with a drop- down menu that includes all the available CSC codes that work with your phone I will choose euo to match the software image I downloaded I already did this step before but for you hit the change button and wait until it finishes your phone screen will flash a few times then the phone will automatically restart if everything went well you should be able to unlock and use your phone normally after rebooting now your CSC code should be changed and if you want to confirm this head over to settings and then about phone and then software information and look for the service provider software version and you should see EU as the first three letters now the phone is ready to install the ax K4 image and then install one ui7 on top of it back to the PC to install the ax K4 image we downloaded earlier which requires downloading the audin software that you will find its download link below it's also a zip file that you need to extract then double click the exe file that runs the app immediately without installation so let's put Odin aside for now and extract the 16 GB image we downloaded to be able to flash it on the device I already did this and inside the folder you will find multiple files then we need to make the phone ready so power off your phone and wait until it's completely off then connect the phone to your PC via USB and press and hold the volume up and volume down keys for a few seconds until you see this weird green screen then release your fingers and press the volume up key only once which will take you to a page with a Down load Arrow going back to Odin and you will see the first empty box under ID com is now active which confirms that your phone is currently connected now let's provide it with the image file that we extracted earlier start by clicking the BL button navigate to the image folder and choose the file labeled BL then click AP and select the AP file this one takes around 2 to 3 minutes to load so don't worry if Odin stayed unresponsive for a while just keep waiting then click CP and choose the relevant file and finally CSC but here you need to choose the homecore CSC not the other one once you do all the selections hit the start button but keep in mind that this process doesn't wipe your phone and all data will remain the same but it's recommended to back up your data anyways just in case anything went wrong it will take some time to finish and your phone will automatically restart and by this you should have the ax K4 image installed on the device and phone is now ready to install one ui7 now let's prepare the PC for the update and the first step is to download the SDK platform tools the download link will be in the description below which will take you to this page here you can download it for Windows Mac or Linux but in my case I use Windows so I'm going to click this option it will first show you the terms and conditions scroll all the way down take the checkbox and hit download then choose a location to download the file for for me I will choose the downloads folder and if you didn't get this popup window to choose the location most probably it will be saved to the downloads folder by default once the download is done navigate to the folder you choose for the download and you will find a zip file called platform tools right click on it and choose extract all and in the popup window click extract Windows automatically extracts the file in the same location which you can find over here now let's download the image from XDA Developers website which which I'm going to leave its Link in the description make sure to download the image related to your phone's model based on your browser you might get a security warning that you need to deal with to be able to start the download you better download this file inside the platform tools folder we just downloaded and extracted go back to the platform tools folder and locate the image file which has a very long name and Dot pin at the end we need to change the extension to dotzip but to make things easier let's rename it to update zip while you are inside this folder navigate to the address bar at the top clear everything then type CMD and hit enter to get the terminal black box now connect your phone via USB and if it's the first time you might get a popup on your phone to allow the USB debugging which you need to allow to confirm the connection is successful type ADB space devices and hit enter if you see your device serial number you are good to go then we need to type ADB reboot put recovery as shown now on the screen and hit enter so this is the phone's recovery screen that you can navigate using the physical buttons and we're going to use the volume record to move up or down we need to choose the second option from the top which is apply update from ADB and confirm the selection by pressing the power button until you see this black screen the last command we're going to type in this process is ADB side load then the update file name which we called it update.zip then hit the enter key if everything is okay it will show you the progress percentage just wait until it reaches 100% And returns back to the normal State once the update finishes it will take you back to the recovery screen so you need to choose the first option which is called Reboot system now press the power button once and your phone will restart on One ui7 beta 1 so this is how you can get one ui7 on your s24 model without data wipe in unsupported countries so please let me know in the comments if you need more help but for now thanks so much for watching and see you in the next one
