today I have this interesting product from Ray Neo the a2s XR glasses featuring a massive 2011 in Virtual screen this is the first time for me to try such a product and I love it so let me share my experience with the r a2s in this video before starting let me point that some of the handsone footage are just a simulation While others are recorded directly from the glasses to show you exactly what to expect effect in real life which I was able to achieve using this setup so let's get back to the review the first question I want to answer is why would you buy a product like this and the answer is simple if you want a private immersive and portable experience you should definitely consider the a2s XR glasses imagine you are on a plane enjoying your favorite content or game on a massive 2011 in display instead of using the airlines tablet size entertainment system or maybe laying on bed doing the same without distracting your partner or playing your favorite game while your family members enjoying something else on the TV and the list goes on not to mention that it's equipped with four speakers that deliver relatively loud and high quality sound considering how small they are and that's exactly why I found the r a2s to be worth buying the second question is how it feels to wear something like this for hours is it comfortable the glasses weigh 78 G which is not as light as a normal pair of glasses for for sure but it's not too heavy either I used it for more than a month and my longest session was about 2 hours without any sort of discomfort thanks to the wide and mushy nose pads that can also be adjusted in three different levels to suit your needs the temples are made of soft silicon so they are gentle on the skin they have flexible hinges to make sure they fit a variety of face shapes each Temple has three levels of height adjustment so all of this combined did allow me to get the perfect fit that works perfectly with my face overall Rayo did really well when it comes to the design and comfort beside the design I like the sense of openness it offers unlike the heavier and bulkier VR glasses like the Apple Vision Pro for example this one just feels normal plus you remain aware of what's going on around you as you can see through the gaps and the Shaded glass under the micro LEDs and when you decrease the brightness you will be able to see through the display if needed the third question I want to answer is it easy to use the quick answer is yes you get a plug andplay experience as far as your device supports USBC display output you are good to go without the need to charge it or carry an external battery pack as it gets powered by The Source device for example I can plug it to my phone and start watching content immediately on a much bigger display and the same applies to my laptop or the pocket TV accessory sold separately by Rayo this pocket TV is one of the best accessories I have ever tried for many reasons it runs the latest Google t DV software it's equipped with a 6,500 mamp battery that gives you up to 5.5 hours of watch time it has 64GB of internal storage that you can expand using a Micro SD card but the best part here is the convenience it gives you the same plugin theplay experience it doubles as the TV remote it has a built-in microphone so you can use Google Assistant to search for Content which is faster than using the d-pad SL onscreen keyboard combo it supports Bluetooth so you can connect your wireless headphones rather than using the glasses built in speakers if you want to you can even use it as a standalone portable Google TV while traveling if have access to a display that supports USBC input or you can use a USBC to HDMI adapter if needed lastly it has huge buttons which makes it extremely easy to navigate without the need to look at it in addition to the convenient battery indicator at the top right corner and for gamers there is another accessory called Joy do it will allow you to play games on your a2s glasses if you have an Nintendo switch or a steam deck plus it has a built-in 10,000 mamp battery to power the whole setup and charge your gaming device at the same time I don't have one here to show you how it works but I will leave its Link in the description if you want to know more beside the accessories I also found the physical buttons located on each side to be very convenient you get volume rockers a menu button to adjust some settings like the color profile or refresh rate and another one for the brightness with a 10 level adjustment so the EO fuse is one of the the strength is of the raino a2s and with the available accessories you can take your experience to the next level now let's talk about the technical aspects starting with the display it features a pair of 0.55 in Sony micro OLED displays one for each side to give you a size equivalent to a 2011 in display seen at 6 M away with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 in 2D and 3840 x 1080 in 3D to watch a 3D content it supports Side by side videos all you need to do is to play the video then press one of the volume keys along with one of the brightness keys at the same time to activate the 3D mode and from my testing it works really well as if you are in a 3D cinema it supports up to 120 HZ refresh rate which is great for gaming 600 net speak brightness with 10 level adjustment 108% srgb color gamut 100,000 to1 contrast ratio and the to viance 3i protection certification that ensures low blue light no Flicker and eye comfort you also get three different color modes to choose from vibrant soft and standard which you can easily adjust using the physical buttons overall I do like the colors a lot which is what you would expect from Sony for the edgy Clarity REO claims that the EDG Clarity improved significantly due to the optimization of the MTF or modulation transfer function which is the newly designed Optical engine I'm not sure how better is it when compared to previous models or the competition I as this is the only unit I have but I still can see some Distortion at the edges thankfully I found the display size option under the pocket TV settings and the lower the scale the less Distortion you get I found 85% to deliver the best results without losing a lot of screen real estate when it comes to the brightness it exceeded my expectations 600 nits sound like a small number but when it's that close to your eyes it's a lot even Outdoors under direct sunlight I was able to clearly see the screen at maximum brightness while 50 to 60% is more than enough for indoors usage and lastly it has a proximity sensor that automatically turns off the display when not in use to save power which is a nice touch overall I like the a2s display and I think it delivers amazing colors brightness and refresh rate and the cherry on top is the 3D support I also want to talk more about the built-in speakers as I mentioned it has four speakers that sound better than what I thought and support a feature called whisper mode that cancels most of the sound leakage to give you extra privacy to hear the difference I will put the microphone in a position as if someone is sitting right next to me and toggle between normal and whisper mode at maximum volume in a quiet environment as you heard it's a big difference and keep in mind that I'm in a quiet place so Outdoors it will be a lot harder for people around you to hear it let me also give you some Pro tips if you want to game on the pocket TV you can connect a game controller to the left USBC port and download your favorite game from Google Play Store in this case I used my Google stadia controller and it got the job done without an issue you can also download the steam link app on the pocket TV and play your PC games remotely which is very convenient so that's everything I wanted to talk about now let me show you what's included in this flashy box that gives you an amazing unboxing experience first it includes high quality carrying case for the glasses an empty space for the pocket TV if you got one and another space for the included microfiber cleaning cloth and the cables you might need to carry around you also get a prescription insert for those who wear prescription glasses like me larger size nose pad along with the already installed medium size a USBC Toc cable for media transfer and the user Manu then we have the pocket TV the Box includes the device another USB C2C cable for charging and the user manual so what about the price the glasses only come at a $319 after discount $449 with the pocket TV and $389 with the joy dock the affiliate purchase link is in the description if if you consider getting one for yourself so here is my final verdict I really like this product and it became one of my daily gadgets I use it to entertain myself before going to bed either to watch videos or play some games I didn't travel with it yet but I'm sure it will make my long flights a lot more fun so please let me know in the comments what do you think but for now thanks so much for watching and see you in the next video
